Interface Tiling is seeking a
Junior Estimator & Contracts Administrator
to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Springvale, VIC ****. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the delivery of our tiling projects by assisting with cost estimation, contract administration and project coordination. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the construction estimating sector whilst working with a team of experienced professionals.
What you'll be doing
Preparing accurate material and labour cost estimates for tiling projects of varying scope and complexity
Reviewing project specifications, drawings and site conditions to inform estimation processes
Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing for materials and services
Maintaining and updating cost databases and estimation templates
Assisting with contract preparation, review and administration tasks
Supporting project managers with schedule coordination and documentation
Processing invoices and managing project accounts
Communicating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams regarding project details and variations
Contributing to tender submissions and bid documentation
What we're looking for
A qualification in construction estimating, quantity surveying, construction management or a related field
Basic knowledge of construction practices, materials and costs, particularly within the tiling or finishes sector
Strong numeracy skills and accuracy in calculations and data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software




Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organisational ability with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Willingness to learn and develop professional knowledge in the construction industry
Preferably, some previous experience in an estimating, administrative or construction role
