Vision Radiology is seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our Dandenong team.

Dari language skills are highly desirable for this position, as our Dandenong clinic regularly supports patients from the Dari-speaking community. The ability to communicate confidently and compassionately with patients in their preferred language will be highly valued.

About the Role
n
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an significant first point of contact for our patients and will work closely with our clinical and administration teams.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Greeting patients and providing a warm, welcoming and professional experience
n
Booking and coordinating patient appointments
n
Answering telephone enquiries and assisting patients with their queries
n
Communicating appointment information clearly with patients
n
Processing patient information, referrals and payments
n
Checking and updating patient details accurately
n
Providing administrative support to the clinical team
n
Liaising with patients, referrers, radiologists, sonographers and other clinical staff
n
Managing a busy reception area and prioritising competing tasksMaintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
n
Working collaboratively with the wider Vision Radiology team
n
Ensuring patients receive an exceptional level of service throughout their visit
n

About You

Ideally, You Will Have:
n
n
Previous medical reception, healthcare administration or customer service experience
n
Experience using medical booking or practice management systems is highly regarded
n
Dari language skills are highly desirable
n
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
n
A genuine interest in providing a positive patient experience
n
n
Medical imaging experience is advantageous, however full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
