Day: 5:00am 1:06pm (Monday to Friday) Saturday shift also available
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working as part of the pre-delivery inspection team. You will complete the below duties on various construction and mining equipment before its shipped to clients/customers. The equipment is brand new and is assembled on site. Your main duties will include the following:
Complete mechanical pre-delivery inspections and commissioning of new Komatsu mining and construction equipment prior to customer handover
Assemble, install and inspect diesel engines, hydraulic systems, undercarriage components, driveline systems, attachments and other major machine components
Conduct detailed mechanical checks, measurements and adjustments to identify defects, leaks, faults or assembly issues in accordance with Komatsu specifications
Carry out functional testing and machine operation checks, including hydraulic, braking, steering, cooling and drivetrain systems, to ensure equipment performs to specification
Rectify mechanical faults, complete repairs and final adjustments identified during PDI testing, ensuring machinery is safe, reliable and ready for customer delivery
What You Will Need
Drivers Licence + reliable transport
Previous experience completing the above duties
Previous experience working on machinery from Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Volvo, Liebherr is highly desirable
Forklift, EWP and Dogging tickets are highly desirable
Able to pass a pre employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
