Job Description
Core Consultants has an opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer in our Sunshine Coast operations. Core is a SEQ employee-owned business with a diverse range of projects including land development and infrastructure, industrial and warehouse developments, medium and high-rise buildings and transport projects - across a wide range of geological conditions in both the planning/design and construction delivery phases. The role also includes opportunities for collaboration with our environmental and geophysics teams on multi-disciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

Geotechnical site investigations and inspections
n
Geotechnical analysis and reporting
n
Project management
n
Delivering practical engineering advice
n
Developing excellent client relationships
n
Proposals and cost estimates
n

About you
n
n
Bachelor of Engineering
n
New graduate to 3 years (flexible) geotechnical experience,



including SEQ geotechnical conditions
n
Enjoy learning and mentoring, working in teams as a task-focused problem solver, and a mix of office and site work
n
Good written and oral communication skills
n
Driver's licence
n
Ongoing mentoring and career/technical development opportunities
n
Option to become an owner-shareholder of Core Consultants
n
9-day fortnight as standard
