Gold Coast Dirt Bike Performance is seeking a skilled Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-performance dirt bikes and motorcycles in a dynamic automotive trades environment.
Based in Burleigh Heads, QLD, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing dirt bikes to the highest standards.
This role offers flexibility with part-time hours whilst allowing you to utilise your mechanical expertise in a specialist automotive setting.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles and dirt bikes using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug servicing, and chain maintenance
Service and repair engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and braking systems
Conduct thorough inspections of motorcycles and dirt bikes to identify wear and potential issues
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Advise customers on maintenance schedules and repair recommendations
Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
Formal qualification or apprenticeship in light vehicle mechanics or a related field
Proven experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic with demonstrated expertise in motorcycle or dirt bike servicing and repair
Strong technical knowledge of engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and suspension components
Proficiency with mechanical and diagnostic tools and equipment
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to automotive work
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and customer service focus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence is preferred
