What is the Role?
n
We're looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join our team, reporting to the People & Culture Manager ANZ, and playing a key role in supporting our people, our leaders and our continued growth across Australia and New Zealand.
n
You'll be the person managers turn to for practical advice and support across performance, conduct, grievances and workplace investigations.
n
You'll be involved across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to performance, development and exits, while also contributing to engagement initiatives and broader P&C; projects.
n
A key part of the role will be making People & Culture easier and better for our leaders and teams - building practical tools, improving processes and using people data to support better decisions.
n
In short, you'll have your hands in a bit of everything - with plenty of opportunity to make things better.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Providing practical HR advice and coaching to managers and employees across Australia and New Zealand.
n
Supporting key employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance,
employee changes and exit.
n
Building practical manager toolkits, HR templates and frameworks.
n
Guiding managers through difficult conversations, grievances, disciplinary processes and dispute resolution.
n
Managing routine and moderately complex workplace investigations from start to finish.
n
Supporting our annual performance, pay review and development cycles.
n
Contributing to P&C; projects, engagement initiatives and employee communications.
n
Identifying opportunities to improve our P&C; systems, processes and ways of working.
n

Building strong relationships across the business and be a trusted, accessible P&C; Advisor.

Who are we looking for?
n
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor or HR Generalist who is confident working across both the advisory and operational sides of HR.
n
This is a role with real variety - one day you're coaching a manager through a tough conversation, the next you're shaping a new process or working on an exciting P&C; project. You'll work across the full employee lifecycle, partner with leaders across Australia and New Zealand, and have genuine autonomy to bring your ideas to life.

Skills and Experience
n
n
3–5 years' experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role, with demonstrated experience across employee relations and the broader employee lifecycle
n
Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and the National Employment Standards, together with working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation
n
Previous experience in a retail, multi-site or similarly fast-paced operational environment is highly desirable.
n
Highly organised and able to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
n
Ability to build trusted relationships and credibility with stakeholders at all levels
n
Comfortable working in an environment where systems and processes are still evolving and where you can help improve waysof working
