Casino & District Memorial Hospital is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join its Theatre team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced theatre nurse to contribute to a regional healthcare facility in Casino, NSW, a vibrant community in the Northern Rivers region. The role runs from ASAP through to 25 October ****, offering approximately four weeks of focused clinical work in a dynamic operating theatre environment.
Contract position in operating theatre, working across a range of orthopaedic and general surgical cases
Approximately four weeks, starting ASAP and concluding 25 October ****
Based in Casino, NSW, a regional centre with solid community healthcare infrastructure
Preferred Requirements




Senior Registered Nurse with substantial theatre experience
Demonstrated all-rounder capability across operating theatre environments
Proven experience managing orthopaedic surgical cases
Strong clinical knowledge of theatre protocols, instrument management, and perioperative care
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Post-graduate qualification or recognised certification in perioperative nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certification
