Trailer Mechanic / Trailer Mechanic Apprentice
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Trailer Mechanic and Trailer Mechanic Apprentice to join our growing workshop team. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of trailers to ensure safety and preformance standards are met.
Trailer Mechanics typically handle inspection, repair, and maintenance of heavy vehicle components, including braking, suspensions, and hydraulic systems.
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of Trailers.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
Inspect braking, suspensions, and hydraulic systems.
Carry out welding, fabrication, and structural repairs.
Maintain accurante service records and reports.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities for Trailer Mechanic Apprentice
Assist qualified mechanics with repairs and servicing.
Use tools and equipment under supervision.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Follow instructions and safety procedure.
Attend TAFE training as part of your Apprenticeship.
Requirements for Trailer Mechanic




Proven experience as a trailer or heavy vehicle mechanic.
Strong Knowledge of trailer systems (brakes, hydraulic, suspension)
Ability to diagnose faults and performance repairs efficiently.
Trade qualifications in mechanical or automotive field.
Valid driver's licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
