This senior role is ideal for a commercially drivensales professional with solid domestic MICE networks and provenexperience across hotels, conference centres or major event venues.You'll lead strategic account development, major bids andhigh-value opportunities while positioning the Panthers Precinct asa leading business-events destination.

About the Role
This is a senior, commercially focused sales role with a strongemphasis on proactive business development, major accountacquisition and the conversion of complex, high valueopportunities. The Cluster Senior Sales Manager represents and sells the precinct as one integrated destination across PullmanSydney Penrith, Mercure Penrith. Event Centre Panthers and WesternSydney Convention Centre (WSCC).
Key Responsibilities
Drive MICE sales and new business development across thePanthers Precinct, building a strong pipeline of conferences,meetings, groups and major events.




Proactively identify and secure new business across corporate,association, government, education, event agency and other keymarkets.
Manage a portfolio of key accounts, building strongrelationships that drive repeat business, referrals and long-termgrowth.
Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and proposalsthrough to negotiation, contracting, handover and post-eventfollow-up.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities acrossaccommodation, event spaces, catering, AV and precinctexperiences.
Represent the Panthers Precinct at trade shows, networkingevents, sales activities and industry forums.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Revenue and Events teams tomaximise conversion, revenue and overall businessopportunities.
Maintain a strong understanding of the market and competitorlandscape, using insights and sales data to identify newopportunities.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records and forecastswhile working towards agreed revenue, room-night and conversiontargets.
Contribute as a senior member of the sales team, sharingknowledge, supporting colleagues and helping drive a collaborative,high-performing sales culture.
About You
Strong experience in MICE sales or business development withinhotels, convention centres, event venues or similarenvironment.
A proven track record of generating and converting new business,particularly conferences, meetings, groups and major events.
Established relationships and networks within the AustralianMICE industry will be highly regarded.
Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills, withconfidence managing the full sales cycle and engaging with seniorstakeholders
Experience with CRM and event/hotel sales systems, with a goodunderstanding of sales pipelines and performance
Flexibility to travel and attend industry events, clientfunctions and site inspections as required, with
fullAustralian working rights.
