We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA/QC professional with specification experience to join a well-established food and beverage manufacturing setting.
This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility across morning, afternoon, and night shifts, suited to candidates who thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
Duties/responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Conduct routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory and production equipment
Investigate customer complaints and assist in identifying root causes of non-conformances
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results across products, packaging, and environmental samples
Support specification development and management activities, recognising this as a resource-intensive function




Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality and production records
Support general housekeeping and GMP compliance activities
Participate in internal and external audits
Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards
Skills/experience:
Tertiary education in Food Science or similar
Proven experience in a similar position in a food or beverage manufacturing setting
Experience working with specification systems, ideally SAP, SAP-RD, or PLM(highly advantageous)
Previous exposure to frozen food manufacturing would be highly desirable, though not essential
Must be adaptable and have high attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
