Duties & Responsibilities
AquacultureTechnicians will be required to:
Actively participate in training and assigned duties.
Work in both the hatchery and grow out areas.
Experience and gain skills in fundamentals of prawn aquaculture, including maturation and spawning, live feed production, feeding and feed monitoring, and basic maintenance.
Assist invariousadditional tasks as assigned, eg animal health monitoring, microbiology, sample collection,



analysisof water quality parameters, andharvesting.
Participate inresearch trials, collect data and assist compile reports as required.
Assist with cleaning and routine maintenance.
Adhere to and maintain our standard operating procedures.
Strictly adhere tothe company'sworkplace health and safety, and responsible environmental practices.
Strictly adhere to the company's biosecurity protocols.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Relevant aquaculture/science qualifications (TAFE or University) and/or experienceis desirable.
Sound competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
You should possess an awesomework ethic andbe highly motivated to succeed.
You must be able towork responsibly andeffectively withina team setting, and unsupervised.
A valid Australian Driver's License is required.
