Epping Plaza Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Gaming Supervisor to join our professional team in an overnight graveyard shift role. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a quick-paced environment, has exceptional problem-solving abilities, and can confidently oversee gaming operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all overnight gaming room operations
n
Ensure compliance with Victorian gaming, liquor, and responsible gambling legislation
n
Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive guest relationships
n
Lead, mentor, nurture, and support team members to achieve individual and venue goals
n
Foster a positive team culture focused on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
n
Monitor gaming floor activity and assist patrons with gaming machine enquiries
n
Perform gaming, cash, and operational audits
n
Conduct security and venue compliance checks
n
Handle large cash transactions accurately and professionally
n
Balance tills, process payouts, and maintain cash control proceduresPrepare and serve beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
n
Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and stock levels
n
Promote venue memberships, loyalty programs, and current promotions
n
Respond effectively to customer concerns, incidents, and operational challenges
n

About You
n
n




Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Supervisor or similar leadership role within a hotel, club, or casino environment
n
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
Strong cash handling, reconciliation, and auditing experience
n
Proven ability to coach, develop, and support team members to achieve high performance standards
n
Thorough understanding of Victorian gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
n
Experience across gaming, bar service, wagering, and customer service operations
n
Confident communicator with excellent leadership skills
n
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
n
Highly reliable, organised, and self-motivated
n
Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
n

Essential Requirements

Current Victorian RSA Certificate
n
Current Victorian RSG Certificate
n
Current Victorian Gaming Employee License
n
Availability to work overnight graveyard shifts, including weekends and public holidays
n
n
Desirable (Not Essential)

TAB Accreditation (TAB Basics and/or Advanced)
n
First Aid Certificate
n
