Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a role that offers variety, flexibility and the chance to build real relationships with patients?
One life medical practice is looking for a passionate and experienced casual registered nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in Alexandra Hills.
This is a hands-on general practice nursing role where no two days are exactly the same. You'll work closely with our doctors and healthcare team, support patients across a wide range of clinical needs, and play an important role in helping our clinic deliver excellent care to the local community.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in providing high-quality patient care and wants to work in a clinic where their contribution is genuinely valued.
What you'll be doing
As part of our nursing team, you'll be involved in a broad range of clinical and patient-care activities, including:
Health assessments and care plans
Wound care and dressing management
Immunisations and vaccinations
Cardiac testing and other clinical investigations
Administering medications and treatments
Assisting doctors with procedures and examinations
Monitoring patients and escalating clinical concerns when required
Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
Managing recalls and reminder systems
Stock management and ordering
Supporting infection control and accreditation requirements
Providing reassurance, education and support to patients and their families
You'll work closely with our doctors and wider healthcare team to make sure patients receive safe, organised and compassionate care from the moment they walk through the door.
What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse




A recognised Registered Nursing qualification
Experience working in general practice or a similar clinical environment
Strong clinical knowledge and sound nursing judgement
Confidence with wound care, immunisations, health assessments and chronic disease management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience using electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
A strong understanding of infection control and patient safety
The ability to stay organised and prioritise effectively in a busy clinic
A positive, team-focused attitude
A genuine commitment to patient-centred care and ongoing career development
