As the Team Leader for Multicultural Programs, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management support by ensuring that all outcomes are delivered in line with the funding bodies guidelines and Border Community Resource Centre policies and procedures. This position requires experience and effective skills in leadership, the ability to manage people. In this role you will work collaboratively to empower clients to achieve self-reliance, independence, and active participation in the broader Albury-Wodonga community. This will be accomplished through personalised casework, direct support, referrals to mainstream service providers, and the facilitation of information sessions and workshops. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work to coordinate and support quality development and service delivery initiatives for multicultural programs across the Albury Wodonga region. The Border Community Resource Centre delivers the Settlement Engagement Transition Support program for the Department of Home Affaies & the Chilrens And Families Support program for the NSW Department of Communities and Justice in Albury.
Key responsibilities
Execute the BCRC CAFS contract
Execute the BRCR SETS contract




Intake - current referrals for SETS and allocate as required
Attend management meetings in the sector
Dedicated Department of Home Affairs and DJC contact
Manage all reporting for both programs
DEX reporting
Competence in use and training of current employees with our client management system
Provide Settlement specific guidance, advice, and support for team for client work

Preferred - Related Degree with experience, or post graduate qualification, or diploma/associate diploma with substantial experience, or attained through previous appointments, service and/or study with a combination of experience, expertise, and competence sufficient to perform the duties required at this level
