About the Role
This vacancy is a Bookkeeping Team Leader position which will work closely with the Finance Manager. It is a client centric role and your duties will include:
Dealing with clients directly to understand their individual requirements
Provision of relevant bookkeeping advice
Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients
Undertaking Xero reconciliations
Payroll processing
BAS preparation and lodgement
General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
Working with the broader to identify new client opportunities
Assessment of systems and processes to ensure efficiencies
Onboarding of new clients
Assisting the bookkeeping team with mentoring and training
Review work of the bookkeeping team
About You
You will be a senior level Bookkeeper with a passion for delivering exceptional results for your clients. Your ability to ensure client relationships are top priority will be valued. Additionally, you will have:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar team leader role
A Cert IVin Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
BAS Agent Registration
Experience using Xero and Excel
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to solve problems
Excellent communication skills
Initiative and the ability to work well within a team
