The Role
As an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you'll work on the installation, service, and maintenance of systems in a range of settings.



You may be placed with clients servicing supermarkets, mining sites, defence bases, large retail chains, or public facilities.
Key Duties Include:
Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Interpret technical drawings and documentation
Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Comply with workplace health and safety policies
Mentor apprentices, where applicable
Key Requirements:
Trade qualification in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
Proven experience across residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC systems
Solid fault-finding and repair skills
Commitment to safe, high-quality work practices
Willingness to relocate to regional Australia
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
A positive outcome on a skills assessment / OTSR issued by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is highly desirable, but not essential. Please indicate on your application if you have this or are in the process.
