The Opportunity

You will provide high-quality general surgical services across:

Elective and emergency surgery
n




Inpatient and outpatient care
n
Clinical assessment and ongoing patient management
n
Multidisciplinary clinical activities
n
Clinical governance and quality improvement
n
Development of regional surgical services
n
n
The appointment can be structured as a Staff Specialist or VMO position, with flexible hours available up to full-time. Classification and remuneration will be commensurate with experience.

About You
n
To be considered, you will:
n
n
Hold FRACS in General Surgery or an equivalent specialist qualification
n
Be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
n
Demonstrate broad competence and experience in General Surgery
n
Be committed to safe, high-quality and patient-centred care
n
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Demonstrate an interest in clinical governance and service development
