Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Mathematics to join our dynamic Senior School team.
This role is permanent full-time, is located in Launceston, Tasmania and will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality educational outcomes for our students.
What you'll be doing
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics from Years 7 to 12
Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to support their learning and development
Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, assessment and reporting
Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students




Participate actively in professional development and collaborative teaching practices
Undertake pastoral care responsibilities and support the broader life of the College

Proven experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Mathematics
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for Mathematics
Capability to work collaboratively within the Mathematics department
Commitment to staying updated with best practices in Mathematics education
Relevant degree in Mathematics or education-related field
Valid teaching qualification and registration with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board (or the ability to attain registration)
