About the Role :
Zen Building Pools and Landscapes is expanding quickly, and we're on the lookout for a qualified, multi-skilled carpenter who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a dynamic, high-quality build environment.
This isn't your typical carpentry role.
You'll be involved in crafting architecturally inspired outdoor environments that combine quality carpentry with design-focused finishes. Projects include site set-out, excavation work, all associated concrete works, timber and steel structures, cladding, screening, detailed carpentry and decking to complete concrete pools with integrated entertaining areas all built with an eye for detail and exceptional craftsmanship.
From foundations to final handover, you'll work closely with our trades, apprentices, and clients so communication, leadership,



and pride in your work are key.
We're after someone who backs themselves, solves problems, and takes ownership. Someone who wants to be part of a crew that builds things properly with care, precision, and pride in the result.
Must-Haves :
5+ years' experience in residential construction
Current driver's licence
WHS White Card
Own tools
Strong problem-solving and site-thinking skills
Experience across:
Site set out
All associated concrete works
Timber and steel structures
Cladding, screening and decking
Ability to read plans and site drawings
Confident leading an apprentice or labourer
Great communication with clients and other trades
Organised, detail-focused, and solution-driven
$45–$60/hour based on experience
Vehicle allowance
