Remuneration of $***** gross per hour + superannuation (12%).

Positions arecasual and on an as needs basis. Applications will be retained on file to fillvacancies within our casual pool as they arise.

Key responsibilities:
n
n
Undertake lifeguard duties
includingsurveillance
of water activities, rescue, and application of first aidtreatment.
n
Supervise patrons using the aquatic facilitiesto maximise customer safety and enjoyment.
n
Facility presentation including set up andpack away of equipment and cleaning of all areas of the Aquatic Centre andBolton Park Stadium.
n
Adhere to Council's policies and procedures.
n
Deliver effective customer service to allpatrons and assist in the coordination of programs/bookings.
n
Assist in the maintenance of pool operationsand in the maintenance and preparation of the facilities.
n
Ensure consistent high levels of
cleanliness,hygiene,
safety, and security is maintained within the centre.
n
Participate in regular in-house trainingsessions and staff meetings.
n
Maintain currency of qualifications relevantto the position.
n
Complete other reasonable duties or tasks asrequired with consultation from the Aquatics Supervisor.
n

What youwill need to succeed:
n
n
Current First Aid Certificate or proof of enrolment in course.
n
Current Pool Lifeguard Licence or proof of enrolment in course.
n




NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
n
Aquatic Management Certificate (Desirable).
n
Current Pool Operations Certificate (Desirable).
n
Are highly motivated, driven to achieve and want to provide service forthe community.
n
Are committed to the WH&S; requirements of the role.
n

In accordance with Work Healthand Safety legislation, successful candidates are required to be vaccinated forHepatitis A and Hepatitis B and will be asked to provide evidence of this.
