Profectus is seeking experienced Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Developers to support the delivery and ongoing operation of an enterprise MDM platform within an Australian Government agency. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure and uses Profisee MDM to manage master and reference data across business and technology domains. The work covers platform configuration, integration development, data quality and matching rules, stewardship workflows and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, configure and support enterprise Master Data Management solutions, primarily on the Profisee platform
Design, build and maintain integrations between the MDM platform, enterprise applications and downstream systems using APIs, Azure services and ETL/ELT tooling
Implement data quality controls, validation rules, matching and survivorship logic, stewardship workflows and governance controls
Build and maintain solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Functions and Logic Apps
Model master and reference data, and maintain hierarchies and metadata
Take assigned work packages through analysis, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support
Investigate and resolve complex platform, integration and data issues across development, test and production environments
Contribute to engineering standards, DevOps practices, deployment automation and operational processes
Support platform reliability, security and performance through monitoring and optimisation
Produce and maintain technical, operational and support documentation
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other team members
Work with architects, engineers, business analysts and data stewards to turn business requirements into supportable solutions
Required Experience
Solid experience delivering enterprise Master Data Management solutions, including hands on development and configuration of an MDM platform such as Profisee




Sound understanding of master data, reference data, data governance, data stewardship, data quality management, matching and survivorship, and hierarchy management
Experience designing and building data integrations using APIs, ETL/ELT processes and modern integration tooling
Strong development experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Functions and Logic Apps
Experience with relational databases and SQL in enterprise environments
Experience delivering complex data solutions within Agile or DevOps delivery teams
Experience developing, testing, deploying and supporting production grade data platforms and enterprise applications
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement lasting solutions
Understanding of data modelling, data quality rules and metadata management practices
Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders and produce clear documentation
Experience implementing MDM on Azure or Microsoft Fabric
Experience within an Australian Government agency, regulated industries or large enterprise environments
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps practices for data platforms
Experience supporting large transformation programs that replace ageing core systems
Certifications in Azure architecture, Azure engineering, data architecture, enterprise architecture or Profisee MDM
Security Clearance Requirements
Must be an Australian Citizen
Must hold an active AGSVA Baseline security clearance prior to commencement
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 security clearance
