Rowanos Restaurant is seeking an experienced Chef to join our Italian restaurant group in Melbourne. You will prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes, work across multiple kitchen sections, and maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes according to restaurant standards
n
Maintain consistency in presentation, portion control and food quality
n
Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and ordering
n
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
n
Work efficiently during busy restaurant services
n




Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
n
Follow recipes, procedures and cost-control requirements
n

About you
n
n
Experience in Italian cuisine is highly regarded
n
Positive understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
n
Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
Reliable, hardworking and willing to develop within the business
