You will lead the department's State Budget processes and provide high-quality financial information and strategic advice to support departmental and whole-of-government decision-making.Your key responsibilities will include:managing the department's State Budget process, including financial information for strategic and operational submissions to the Cabinet Budget Review Committee, departmental Service Delivery Statements and ad hoc requestsleading external budget delivery, including Queensland Treasury requirements, deep-dive requests, FRaMES-related activities and strategic budget advicestrengthening business continuity through knowledge transfer, process documentation and cross-trainingsupporting improvements to financial processes and systemsproviding expert advice and professionally representing TMR in liaison and negotiations with Queensland Treasury and other stakeholdersenhancing financial management capability across TMR through the development and delivery of guidelines, procedures and training.Position detailsThe position reports to the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and has four direct reports.
