Job Description
The Leading Hand Electrician runs a crew on site and delivers premium electrical installations safely, on program, on budget and to a high standard of finish.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise a crew of electricians and apprentices on site
n
Plan, sequence and allocate daily works to meet project programs
n
Act as the main on-site contact for builders, site managers and clients
n
Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS **** and relevant Victorian regulations
n
Complete testing, verification and Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES)
n
Prepare, review and enforce SWMS, and maintain a secure site at all times
n
Train, mentor and assess apprentices and junior electricians
n
Manage materials ordering, site variations and daily reporting
n
Identify and **escalate** issues with scope, design or program early
n
Uphold Toma Power Solutions' standard of workmanship and presentation
n

About you
n
n
Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
n
Minimum 2 years qualified experience
n
Proven experience leading a team and/or running projects
n




Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
n
Strong testing, fault-finding and installation skills
n
Current Construction Induction (White) Card
n
Full Australian driver's licence
n
Right to work in Australia
n
Experience with smart home systems, CT metering, security systems, dry fire systems (preferred)
n
Experience working with builders on luxury residential projects (preferred)
