This is a permanent Assistant Accountant opportunity, ideal for someone looking to build on their accounting foundations and grow their career within a stable organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and assisting with a broad range of accounting and finance duties. This role offers exposure across the finance function and the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a professional environment.

The responsibilities
n
n
Oversea Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
n
Support month-end and year-end close activities
n
Complete allocated Balance Sheet Reconciliations
n




Prepare and process journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger records
n
Assist with supplier payments and maintain up-to-date accounts payable invoices
n
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
n
Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial transactions
n
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
n
Provide support during audit and tax engagements
n
Perform general administrative duties to support the finance function
n

About you:
n
n
Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant
n
Good work ethic, fast-learner and keen to get stuck into the role!
n
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
n
Either completed CPA/CA or working towards
n
n
