We are seeking a mature-minded and reliable Night Shift Catering Assistant to take ownership of a genuinely relaxed, low-volume service. This role isn't about churning out dockets—it's about steady, low-stress work, keeping things ticking over overnight, and setting up the morning crew for success.

The Role
n
Working autonomously through the night, you will manage light-volume service with a very small turnover. Your main duties will include:
n

Reheating and serving pre-prepared meals.
n
Minimal, short-order breakfast prep for the 7:00 AM handover (e.g., frying bacon, poaching eggs, hash browns, toast).
n
Operating basic kitchen equipment including a combi oven, stovetops, fryers, and a manual coffee machine.
n
Basic point-of-sale (POS) and cash handling.
n
Strictly maintaining food safety standards, including temperature probing and managing the 2hr/4hr rule for bain-marie items. This is a core component of the job and will form part of the interview process.

Practical Experience: Familiarity with basic kitchen equipment and short-order cooking.
