Respiratory Lab
Technician/Scientist,
Casual, Bankstown
n
Meredith Respiratory and Sleep Centre in Bankstown, a leading respiratory and sleep centre is in need of a Respiratory Lab
Technician/Scientist.
n
The Role includes, but is not limited to:
n
Collection of patient medical information and history
n
Performance of various respiratory tests including lung function, spirometry, asthma and allergy tests
n
Accurate recording of results
n
Prepare and monitor patients during testing
n
Liaise with clinic Doctors and other staff
n
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment in accordance with established guidelines
n
Keeping up to date with improvements in procedures and changes in government requirements
n
Assist with administrative tasks including booking of patients, monitoring supply of consumables and assisting reception with front desk duties
n
Required:
n




Qualification or current enrolment in medical science or medical related degree essential
n
Experience in conducting respiratory and related tests preferred but not essential
n
Must be sufficiently confident to be able to work alone
n
Enjoy dealing with the general public
n
Willingness to work at other locations if required
n
Willingness to assist with administration and front desk functions
n
Remuneration:
n
******* Hours per week, Monday to Fridays.
n
On the job training provided
n
Availability of experienced IT personnel, administration assistants, practice manager and experienced medical specialists
n
Up to date medical equipment and software
n
Up-to-date, clean work environment close to shops and railway station
