About the opportunity

Our Client is seeking an experienced Clinical Leader to take on a senior management position within an established residential aged care home in Sydney Metro.
n
This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible across the home, supporting Registered Nurses, developing clinical capability and maintaining strong standards of resident care.
n
You'll work closely with the wider management team and have access to established quality, operational and clinical support.
n
The role You'll take responsibility for the day‐to‐day clinical performance of the home, with a strong focus on clinical governance, team development and continuous improvement.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading, coaching and supporting Registered Nurses and care teams
n
Overseeing resident assessments, care planning and clinical reviews
n
Supporting AN-ACC processes and accurate clinical documentation
n
Managing clinical incidents, risks and continuous improvement actions
n
Leading audits and maintaining strong compliance standards
n
Supporting medication management and complex resident care
n
Building clinical confidence and capability across the team
n
Working closely with GPs, allied health professionals and families
n




Maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
n
n
About you
n
You'll be an experienced aged care clinician who can combine strong clinical judgement with confident people leadership.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
n
Residential aged care experience
n
Previous clinical leadership or management experience
n
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and care planning
n
Experience with AN-ACC, audits and continuous improvement
n
Robust coaching, mentoring and communication skills
n
Confidence managing clinical risk and supporting complex care
n
n
Candidates currently working as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager, Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager or senior Registered Nurse are encouraged to apply.
