Our dedicated Thomas Furlong cancer ward, Day Cancer Centre and GenesisCare radiation oncology facility, bring together clinicians from a wide range of areas for cancer treatment, including oncology, haematology and palliative care on site.**Your role at**As an **Enrolled** or **Registered Nurse**, you will be responsible for a high standard of patient care to our oncology patients on our Thomas Furlong Ward.**Thomas Furlong is an oncology/haematology and palliative care ward that cares for patients at all stages from diagnosis, to complex treatment and acute admissions as well as end of life.**You will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing compassion care and expertise.**The Position*** Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.* Promote and contribute to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.* Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate.* Support and supervise staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.* Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team,
