About the Role:
As a General Services Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Reporting to the Hospital Services Manager, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to two key areas: Environmental Services and Catering. With your solid understanding of safety and hygiene principles, you will help ensure that our clinic runs smoothly and meets the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain exceptional cleanliness across all areas of the clinic to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.




Work closely with both the Environmental Services and Catering teams, ensuring smooth operations across both areas.
Uphold infection control standards and ensure they are consistently met.
Collaborate as part of a supportive, team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
Maintain flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends.
Proven experience in cleaning services, ideally in a healthcare setting.
Strong work ethic, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
A commitment to infection control and maintaining a hygienic environment.
Demonstrated dedication to excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
Ability to work well within a team and also thrive independently.
Availability to work a range of shifts, including weekends.
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hospital, hotel, or similar setting.
Certificate III in Hospitality Services or equivalent.
Ability to work autonomously while managing priorities effectively.
Familiarity with the HACCP system and food safety standards.
