About the role
The MAMS Group is currently seeking a multi-skilled, enthusiastic, and physically fit truck driver to join our Townsville team for an immediate start.
This position is based at our Fairfield Waters Depot in Townsville and will be operating hook trucks in the local area as well as daily trips to Ayr, Charters Towers and Ingham. The job includes overtime and work on a rotating Saturday roster.
Key Requirements:
HR or HC Truck Licence and proven experience as a heavy vehicle truck driver
Ability to work independently and represent MAMS Group with professionalism, honesty, and integrity
Solid commitment to safety and compliance with NHVR regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
Able to carry out manual handling tasks (tarping skips)
High level of communication – both written and verbal
Successful applicants will need to complete a commercial driver's medical certificate and obtain a successful police check.
