Electrician – Utility Scale Solar Farm

$*******k + super (contract considered at $65ph)
n
Overtime earnings upwards of $190k inclusive
n
38 hour week
n
10% performance bonus

The Opportunity
n
Are you an experienced Electrician and keen to be trained to work on Solar Farms? No prior solar experience needed, just a local Electrician who is keen to learn and grow with a leading Energy business.

We're partnering with a leading renewable energy business to recruit an Electrician for a utility-scale solar farm in Wellington, NSW.
n
This is an excellent prospect to join a growing industry, working on critical renewable energy infrastructure where you'll play a key role in maintaining plant performance, reliability and safety.

The Role
n
You'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the solar farm, carrying out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure maximum site performance.
n
Key responsibilities include:

Electrical fault finding, inspections and preventative maintenance
n
Testing and maintenance of PV systems and associated equipment
n
Monitoring plant performance and responding to site alarms
n
Supporting SCADA monitoring and performance reporting
n
MV/HV switching operations (where authorised)
n
n
About You
n
n
Current Grade A Electrical Licence or Certificate III in Electrotechnology
n
MV/HV switching experience or qualifications
n
Experience on utility-scale solar, wind or BESS projects
n
n
