The Opportunity

As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you'll take the lead across a defined sector or portfolio, driving revenue growth through strategic client engagement, business development and best-practice recruitment delivery.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, manage critical hiring projects, and build deep talent pipelines while contributing to the continued growth of the wider business.

This is a senior individual contributor role suited to someone who thrives on ownership, accountability and results.

What You'll Be Doing

Sector Leadership & Client Growth

Own and grow a defined market or sector
n
Develop trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders
n
Identify opportunities to expand client spend across projects and workforce solutions
n
Provide market intelligence around talent availability, salaries and hiring trends
n
Position yourself as a specialist within your sector

Business Development
n
n
Operate with autonomy to develop and win current business
n
Build long-term client relationships across your market
n
Attend industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings

Generate referrals and opportunities across the broader business
n

Recruitment Delivery
n
n
Manage full end-to-end recruitment processes
n
Source, screen and assess high-quality candidates
n
Deliver accurate shortlists and recruitment insights to clients
n
Build and maintain active talent pools aligned to market demand
n
Manage offers, onboarding and placement processes
n
n
Mobilisation & Compliance
n
n
Ensure candidates meet all compliance and mobilisation requirements
n
Coordinate with internal teams around medicals, licensing and onboarding
n
Maintain accurate records across systems and databases
n
n
Candidate Management
n
n
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
n
Build long-term candidate relationships and referral networks
n
Conduct post-placement aftercare with both candidates and clients
n

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills
n

Strong recruitment or labour hire experience
n
Demonstrated success in business development and client growth
n
Proven ability to meet revenue and placement targets
n
Sector expertise within your market
n
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills

Confidence using recruitment systems, databases and sourcing platforms
