As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based clinical care while leading and supporting care staff throughout your shift. You will work closely with residents, families, allied health professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives personalised care that promotes dignity, independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high quality clinical care in accordance with best practice and aged care standards.
Complete comprehensive resident assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in residents' health and wellbeing.
Lead, mentor and support Assistants in Nursing and Personal Care Workers during each shift.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, visiting health professionals and external providers.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous clinical excellence.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation,



policies and accreditation requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for caring for older people.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Sound knowledge of contemporary aged care practices and clinical documentation.
Experience in residential aged care is desirable but not essential.
