South East Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit on a three-week contract from 22 September to 8 October 2026. This is an opportunity to work in a high-acuity clinical workplace, supporting patients requiring complex and critical care. The role offers hands-on experience in one of the hospital's most dynamic departments, working alongside a dedicated ICU team.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated ICU nursing experience with exposure to critical care protocols




- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Competence in cannulation and venepuncture
- Experience managing ventilated patients and mechanical ventilation support
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly in a high-acuity setting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in Critical Care Nursing
- Additional certifications in intensive care or emergency nursing are advantageous
