About the role /n

This is a hands-on customer service role involving battery sales, installations and roadside assistance. No previous battery or automotive experience is required. Training will be provided to the right applicant.

Key responsibilities /n

- Assist customers with battery enquiries and sales

/n

- Test, replace and install automotive batteries

/n

- Provide roadside battery assistance and jump-start services

/n

- Diagnose common battery and charging-system issues

/n

- Deliver batteries to customers and local businesses

/n

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

/n

- Process customer payments and complete basic job paperwork

/n

- Participate in the 24-hour roadside assistance roster, including some after-hours and weekend call-outs

/n

- Provide friendly and professional customer service

/n

About you /n

/n

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

/n





- Confident dealing with customers

/n

- Comfortable undertaking practical, hands-on work

/n

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

/n

- Available to participate in an after-hours roster

/n

- Hold a current Australian driver's licence

/n

- Physically capable of safely lifting and handling batteries

/n

- Automotive or retail experience is helpful but not essential

/n
