Brisbane Bayside State College is seeking an experienced, highly organised and customer-focused Administration Officer to join our administration team, to perform Enrolments and Accounts Receivable functions.

This is an opportunity to make a valued contribution to the college community through a role that combines administrative and financial responsibilities with meaningful interaction with students, families and staff.

The administration team plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the college and in providing responsive, professional support to students, parents, carers and staff.

Your opportunity:

As the Administration Officer (Enrolments and Accounts Receivable) you will provide high-quality administrative and financial support to the college,



with a particular focus on student enrolments and accounts receivable processes.

You will be responsible for delivering productive and accurate administrative services, maintaining student and financial records, and providing a high standard of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to work effectively in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- process student enrolment applications and associated documentation in accordance with departmental policies and school procedures
- maintain accurate student records and ensure enrolment information is entered and updated in relevant departmental systems
- provide timely and professional advice and assistance to parents, carers, students, staff and community members regarding enrolment and administrative matters
- undertake accounts receivable functions, including preparing invoices, receipting payments, issuing statements and monitoring outstanding accounts
- follow up overdue accounts in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and school processes
- assist with financial administration, reconciliations and recordkeeping to support the effective operation of the school
- maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and standards
- contribute positively to a collaborative team environment and support school priorities and operational requirements.

About you:

The ideal applicant will demonstrate:

- experience in administration, enrolments and/or accounts receivable functions
- strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, financial processing and recordkeeping
- well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus
- the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- sound judgement, discretion and a commitment to confidentiality
- the ability to use administrative and financial systems effectively, including Microsoft Office applications
- experience using Microsoft Office and OneSchool Finance, or the ability to quickly learn
