The Role

As Systems Lead, you will maximise the value of key business systems by defining and executing system roadmaps, managing vendor partnerships, and ensuring robust alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Working within the Operational Excellence team, you'll drive system performance, user adoption, continuous improvement, and strategic enhancements that support Bega Group's broader business objectives. This is a highly collaborative role that bridges business and technology, ensuring systems remain effective, scalable, and deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strategic system roadmaps aligned to organisational priorities and long-term business objectives
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service level agreements, licensing renewals, budgets, and escalations
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into system initiatives and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Lead prioritisation of enhancements, bug fixes, feature requests, and adoption initiatives to maximise business value
- Oversee system performance, availability, incident management, documentation, and user training activities

About you

- Experience with cloud-based EHSQ (eg. Intelex) and PLM/recipe management (eg. Hamilton Grant) systems is highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, project management methodologies (e.g. Agile or Scrum), and change management practices
- Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Management, Science, or a related discipline,
