About the role
CPR Outdoor (Brookes SW Construction) is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of its Bunbury operations. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative functions, supporting internal teams, managing office systems and supplier relationships, and ensuring professional, accurate and timely communication across the business. The Office Manager occupies a central position within the organisation and is a key point of coordination between the Director, internal staff, customers, and suppliers. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires a self-directed approach to workload management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative systems, workflows, facilities, equipment, consumables and office procedures.
- Prepare, review and maintain business documentation, correspondence, reports, purchase orders, quotes, filing systems and version-controlled records using Microsoft Office applications.
- Monitor and coordinate incoming communications, internal information flow and customer enquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Provide executive support to the Director, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, briefing materials, agendas, minutes and action registers.
- Coordinate customer orders and supplier relationships,
including enquiries, deliveries, invoicing, pricing, account maintenance, issue resolution and stakeholder updates.
- Support human resources administration, including onboarding, employee records, leave tracking, HR correspondence, recruitment administration and workplace health and safety documentation.
- Assist with workplace policies and procedures, undertake research and prepare summary documents to support business decision-making and compliance obligations.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in office management or senior administration, with a minimum of three to five years in a comparable role.
- Proven proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, as tools used routinely in the course of duties.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with a qualified and service-oriented manner.
- Experience coordinating with external suppliers or contractors, including management of orders and account relationships.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take initiative without close direction.
