About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our café kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining excellent food presentation and ensuring a clean, safe and efficient kitchen operation.

The Chef will work closely with the café and club team to deliver consistent food quality and a welcoming dining experience for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with the café menu and club standards.

- Maintain consistent quality, portion sizes and presentation.

- Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes and specials.

- Prepare food efficiently during busy service periods.

- Ensure all food is stored, handled and prepared in accordance with food safety requirements.

- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen and food preparation areas.

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.

- Minimise food waste and maintain appropriate food-cost controls.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.





- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

- Assist with cleaning, closing and opening procedures as required.

- Provide friendly and skilled service to club members and guests when required.

- Shifts will vary across breakfast, lunch and dinner service periods.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook in a café, club, restaurant or similar environment.

- Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable.

- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

- High standards of cleanliness and personal presentation.

- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality food and service.
