We are seeking Excavator Operators to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As an Excavator Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of heavy machinery within our busy quarry environment. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence in construction materials production.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate excavators and other heavy machinery in a safe and productive manner

2. Perform excavation, loading, and material handling duties as required

3. Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment

4. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

5. Collaborate with the wider quarry team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity

6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment usage and maintenance

What we're looking for

1.



Minimum 2 years' experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery in a quarry or construction environment

2. Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, physical work setting

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

4. Commitment to maintaining equipment in optimal condition

5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

6. Proven track record of reliability and punctuality
