Senior Contract Administrator

Core Talent are working with a leading utilities and infrastructure contractor delivering critical power, energy and utility projects across Australia.
With a strong pipeline of long-term projects and frameworks, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to support project delivery teams and drive commercial outcomes across multiple contracts.

The Role

- Manage subcontract administration from procurement through to final account and close out
- Prepare, assess and negotiate variations, claims, extensions of time and commercial notices
- Support project teams with cost forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting requirements
- Administer payment claims, payment schedules and subcontractor invoicing processes
- Monitor contract performance, identify commercial risks and assist with mitigation strategies Maintain accurate contract registers, records and supporting documentation
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Finance and Commercial teams to maximise project outcomes
- Assist with upstream and downstream contract management activities across multiple projects

About You

- Experience in Contract Administration within construction,



utilities, infrastructure, engineering or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of subcontract management, procurement and commercial processes
- Experience managing variations, claims, forecasting and project reporting
- Ability to interpret contract terms and identify commercial risks and opportunities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce, Law or similar highly regarded
- 5+ years' experience in a Contract Administration or Commercial role
