The Leading Hand - Mobile Crushing position is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of mobile crushing equipment within the Quarry sector. Based in Dubbo, NSW, this permanent full-time role requires a proactive leader to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity in line with company standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a skilled team, optimising processes, and contributing to the overall success of our mining operations.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mobile crushing team to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and assist with regular maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality work standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational strategies and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of production, equipment usage, and safety incidents.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the Quarry or heavy machinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of mobile crushing operations and equipment.




- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
- Relevant certifications in mining operations or heavy machinery operation are preferred.
- Ability to work flexible long hours and adapt to changing operational demands. Minimum 52.5 hours per week.
- Flexibility to travel and work at different sites depending on business needs. Staying away from home may be required depending on location.
