Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) operates its 100% owned high-grade Bellevue gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a long mine life and is forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces a year.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration in progress to expand the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold, lithium and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and operating major gold mines.

Bellevue Gold has achieved its ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project. This milestone has been underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, designed to deliver approximately 80–90% renewable energy penetration and support Bellevue’s position as a low-carbon gold producer.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Lead the site geotechnical engineering team, using your experience to build a team which is agile, data driven, safety oriented and motivated to improve on the way we work.
- Oversee close collaboration between the geotechnical department and external stakeholders,



including Planning, Production, Backfill, Geology and Operations.
- Proactively update and maintain all geotechnical documentation, including the Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) and Ground Support Standards (GSS), in order effectively manage risk in both the underground mine and open pits.
- Provide geotechnical input to designs and schedules with the aim to safely and efficiently extract ore given scheduling constraints
- Undertake numerical modelling to assess stability, seismic potential and ground support requirements for the life of mine. Communicate future risks, design proposals and recommendations to the Technical Services Manager, Underground Manager and Principal Mining Engineer.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of all geotechnical controls, through inspections, QAQC programs, convergence monitoring, corrosion testing, etc.
- Oversee the reliable use, operation and continued expansion of seismic system.
- Engage and manage consultants to complete specialist studies beyond the scope of the site-based team. Identify and develop the capabilities within the team where design and modelling can be conducted in-house.
- Conduct in-field safety interactions, critical control verifications, risk assessments and coaching to uphold high safety standards.
- Ensure regular communication and training of geotechnical hazards and controls to the workforce.




- Possess sound awareness of the Work Health and Safety Act, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations, and relevant underground mining standards.

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

- Tertiary degree in Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanised UG hard rock mining, in a Geotechnical role
- Completed the Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
- Demonstrated practical and technical Geotechnical skills
- Demonstrated ability to use specialised Geotechnical hardware and software, including Map3D, the RocScience suite, as well as specialised seismic packages
- mXrap proficiency (preferred)
- Deswik proficiency (preferred)
- Experience in contractor management and cost control
- Detailed knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 & Work Health and Safety Act 2020
- Ability to work autonomously with well-developed time management skills
- Positive interpersonal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills
- Outstanding analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
