We're partnering with a leading hospital in Brisbane to find passionate Theatre Nurses keen to work across a broad range of specialties including orthopaedics, cardiac services, neurosurgery, urology and general surgery, develop advanced perioperative skills, and be part of a supportive, high-performing team.
About the Role
You'll work across a busy perioperative department with opportunities in:
- Scrub Scout
- Anaesthetics
- Recovery (PACU)
This role would suit nurses in the early stages of their theatre career who are eager to learn, gain experience, and build specialist perioperative skills.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care
- Assist surgeons and theatre teams during procedures
- Provide anaesthetic nursing support where applicable
- Deliver post-operative recovery care and patient monitoring
- Maintain theatre sterility and infection control standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics, Recovery or a combination of perioperative specialties
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Passion for patient care and professional development
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Eagerness to learn and build a long-term theatre career
