Supply Chain Manager | FMCG

About the Company
We are recruiting for a proud, rapid-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business based South of the River in Perth. Known for our high-quality products and fast-paced operational excellence, we supply major retailers across Australia. Due to continued growth and investment in our local operations, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee our end-to-end supply chain functions.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will take full ownership of the supply chain, logistics, and procurement strategy. You will lead a small, dedicated team to optimize inventory levels, streamline warehousing, and ensure seamless delivery to our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves solving complex logistical puzzles.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, demand planning, warehousing, and dispatch.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing inventory and logistics team.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and freight partners.

- Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and stockouts while ensuring 100% DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time).





- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase supply chain resilience.

- Collaborate closely with production, sales, and finance departments to align on demand forecasting.

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Senior Planner within the FMCG, food manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industries.

- Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory control, and logistics frameworks.

- Demonstrated leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing staff.

- Advanced ERP system skills (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics) and intermediate-to-advanced Excel.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
