Spreader Truck Operator

The Role:

Operating a Heavy Rigid Spreader truck to distribute dry bulk materials like fertiliser across local parks and public fields:

- Loading bulk fertilizer into the truck's hopper using a forklift.
- Transporting Spreader truck to site
- Perform daily pre-start and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any faults, and completing end-of-day cleaning.
- Setting up & ensuring signage is appropriately placed prior to spreading
- Spread and distribute fertiliser across local parks, verges and gardens in public areas in line with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- General labouring and site cleaning tasks
- Operating blowers and other smaller equipment
- Early morning starts

Criteria:

- Valid HR - Manual licence (Required)
- Forklift licence (Required)
- Previous experience in similar roles (Desirable)
- Current National Police Clearance - Clean Driving record
- Physically fit & Able to Pass Drug & Alcohol testing
