MYtech Consulting Services is a growing IT service provider, providing services to public and private sector clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality & Testing Manager for a fixed-term contract within NTG until June 2027 with the possibility of extension. The Quality & Testing Manager will be required to manage testing services for CCSRP. This role will also support CCSRP Project Managers and leads in ensuring that appropriate complete test plans are in place and delivered on to ensure the quality of project products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Make continuous improvements to the speed and coverage of delivery of testing outcomes.

- Be accountable for the quality test plans, test documentation, test cases and test outcomes for the CCSRP in close collaboration with all stakeholders including third party vendors.

- Lead a team of NTG and contract staff in the delivery of required services.

- Work with the quality and testing team members to prioritise test work packages across projects.

- Oversee and advise on project level resource planning and management.

- Oversee and proactively manage all issues that impede test efforts.

- Work with the Clinical Safety Officer(s) and provide evidence that the system is safe to be implemented and that appropriate clinical safety/risk management have been adequately considered and mitigated.

- Work with senior stakeholders across NT Health.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead on a large ICT program.

- Demonstrated track record in managing one or more teams to deliver testing services in a program setting.





- Demonstrated ability to articulate the objectives of a successful quality and testing function.

- Expert knowledge and understanding of quality and testing management methodology, techniques and frameworks.

- Ability to identify and describe the tactics necessary to ensure that testing outcomes meet the customer requirements of the CCSRP program.

- Ability to lead a team so that testing requirements at a functional and technical level are presented in natural language so they can be understood by all stakeholders.

- Extensive experience in reviewing and validating project test plans, scenarios, test cases and test scripts.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle and associated project management methodology, techniques and frameworks.

- High level of leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to take a lead role in engagement across business, vendor and program stakeholders.

- Experience in Test Management and Test Automation methods and tools.

- Written communication – demonstrated ability to prepare plans, presentations and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language; edit written communications to ensure they contain the information necessary to achieve their purpose and meet audience needs.

Desirable Skills and Experience





- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in a Test Manager / Senior Test Lead role.

- An understanding of the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Services (NSQHS) Standards.

- An understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and its use in an organization.

- Experience working in a large scale/ multi-year program environment will be well regarded.

- Health industry experience and general familiarity with clinical terminology, data and systems will be well regarded.

- Possess relevant certification such as ISTQB.

- Experience in testing activities for a COTS based solution.

- Experience with SmartBear - TestComplete automation tool.
