About the role

Pantoro Gold is seeking Mine Surveyors to join our growing team at the Norseman Gold Project. This is an excellent opportunity for a Surveyor with 2+ years' mine surveying experience who is looking to build their career within a growing Western Australian gold producer. Underground experience is preferred; however, we are also interested in hearing from candidates with strong mine surveying fundamentals who are keen to further develop their underground capability. Working closely with our technical services teams, you will provide accurate and timely survey services that support safe, efficient and productive mining operations.

Key responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day surveying support to mining operations.

- Complete underground development, production and control surveys.

- Maintain accurate mine surveys, plans and spatial databases.

- Assist with statutory survey requirements and ensure survey information is maintained to the required standards.

- Provide accurate survey information to support mine planning, development and production activities.

- Complete pick ups, set outs, mark ups, void surveys and other operational survey requirements.

- Maintain survey equipment and ensure appropriate survey controls are established and maintained.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of surveying systems, processes and methodologies.

- Develop your technical capability and knowledge through exposure to a range of underground mining activities.

About you





- Relevant qualifications in Mine Surveying, Spatial Sciences or a related discipline.

- Minimum 2 years' experience in mine surveying.

- Underground hard rock mining experience is highly regarded, preferably within gold operations.

- Sound understanding of mine surveying principles and practices.

- Experience using modern surveying equipment and mine survey software.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
