Since its inception in 2017, we have built a reputation for delivering projects with the highest professional standards, ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely. We are expanding rapidly and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position with 38-hour basic weeks.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Formwork Carpenter to join our growing construction team. You will be responsible for building, assembling, and dismantling formwork structures for concrete pours on a variety of projects. This is a outstanding opportunity to work on exciting projects and be part of a supportive and professional crew.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

For this role, you will be responsible for:

ꞏ Build, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and alignment to project specifications.

ꞏ Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans

ꞏ Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber/metal formwork materials

ꞏ Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively

ꞏ Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards





ꞏ Assisting with concrete pours and site preparation as required

ꞏ Making formwork from timber, plywood, plastic, and steel as per shop drawings

ꞏ Selecting and ordering materials required and preparing layouts

About You

For this role, you will have:

ꞏ Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent experience (AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field)

ꞏ Proven experience in civil and commercial structure construction: 2 years (required)

ꞏ Clear understanding of concrete structure construction

ꞏ Able to read and interpret both formwork and steel reinforcement drawings

ꞏ Construction White Card

ꞏ Machinery experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Desirable skills

ꞏ Safety procedures knowledge

ꞏ Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in an inclusive team

ꞏ Valid Driving License and transport desirable
